Our two year old room is set up with age appropriate books, puppets, cozy furniture and pillows, flannel boards, science, puzzles, all help introduce your child to print and install early reading skills as well as introduce them to the alphabet.
Hands on art activities including painting, play dough, crayons, and washable paint allow children to work with the teacher and other students on activities that engage your child in learning.
Our science center is set up with medical kits, plants, plastic insects, and animals, magnifying glasses, color paddles and other age appropriate materials to introduce your child to science.
Our dramatic play center is one of the 2’s favorite areas to play and discover, filled with dolls, stoves, refrigerators, dishes, pots and pans, play food, musical instruments, dress up clothes and vacuum cleaners all allow children to use their imaginations, dress up , play house and socialize with one another.
Along with your child’s educational experiences at Leap Ahead we will also be introducing them to basic life skills throughout the day (hand washing, potty training, drinking & eating, talking, etc.).
