Dramatic Play/House Center:
Our dramatic play center allows your child to play house, cooking, cleaning, dress up, and dolls to let them play, discover, and pretend using their imaginations.
Two Story and circle times during the day are enjoyed by all of our toddlers. Where children are introduced to various picture books and read to in a small group setting. Flannel boards and puppets are used for story telling as well. There is a variety of books for your child to "read" and enjoy.
Colors, numbers, shapes, animals, music and movement, and various age appropriate themes are discussed and taught.
Age Appropriate art activities are enjoyed on a daily basis as well as dramatic play, science, playground, computers and many more exciting activities for your child to learn, play and explore.
Two playground times, (weather permitting) one in the morning and one in the afternoon where the children get to discover the outdoors, play on our many outside toys, swing, and interact with other children their own age help complete your child's exciting day at Leap Ahead Learning Center.
A nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack that has been approved by the Child Care Food Nutrition Program is included with full time tuition at no cost to parents.
A daily sheet is sent home to parents and guardians that will let you know what your child did for the day, liked, how many times your child was changed, how they ate and slept, and what projects and themes they worked on for the day.
